ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Disabled veterans in New York may soon receive some tax relief due to a recent state bill.
Governor Kathy Hochul signed a new bill into law, granting a complete property tax exemption on the primary homes of veterans with a 100% service-connected disability.
The law took effect immediately and applies to assessment rolls prepared after Jan. 2.
