ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Two unrelated crashes happened at the corner of Allen and King streets on the city’s west side on Monday night, less than half an hour apart.
The first crash happened just before 8 p.m. Rochester Police say a gray sedan rolled over while traveling on Allen Street and the driver abandoned the car. Investigators determined that the driver and a passenger left the area in a different car, a white sedan. RPD is working to identify the driver and is asking anyone with information to call 911.
The next crash happened just before 8:30 p.m. Police say that, while investigating the first crash, another car, a gray SUV, rolled over around the same area. The driver was not hurt and was not ticketed. Both cars were towed from the scene after the crashes.
