Several tornadoes ripped through Iroquois and Livingston counties on Sunday as storms with estimated maximum winds of up to 95 miles per hour swept across central Illinois.
The National Weather Service in Chicago said five tornadoes occurred during a round of severe weather, including four in Iroquois County.

Multiple homes in a subdivision and a condominium building were damaged, the city of Pontiac said in a Facebook post.
The NWS also confirmed a microburst/straight-line wind damage in the Fairbury-Forrest area of southeast Livingston County. Maximum winds reached an estimated 80 mph in the area.
The most extensive damage in Illinois was reported near Decatur, where an EF-2 tornado tore the roofs off several homes, snapped large trees and even tossed a garage over to the next block.
