The Tournament of Roses recently announced that the 2026 Rose Parade will be livestreamed on multiple platforms.
This will be the third year that the parade has had an official livestream, where viewers across the nation – and the world – can tune into the annual New Year’s Day celebration. Officials at the Tournament of Roses say that venturing into livestream is part of their efforts to reach viewers where they’re at, and hope to continue partnering with streaming services to reach a wider, global audience.
The 137th Rose Parade will be streamed in its entirety on eight platforms – Christmas Plus, Dooya, FanDuel Sports Network, Fubo, GFam+, Great American Pure Flix, Pluto TV and Samsung TV Plus – making it easier than ever for audiences to enjoy the parade, according to a press release. People can also watch the livestream on the Tournament of Roses’ YouTube channel.

It will remain available through Jan. 14, on most platforms and up to one year on select platforms, according to a press release.
“The Rose Parade has always been about welcoming the world to Pasadena, and our livestream really allows us to expand that tradition, giving fans everywhere a front row seat to America’s New Year’s celebration,” David Eads, CEO and executive director of the Tournament, said in an interview. “Whether that be streetside with people along the parade route, through our traditional broadcast partners, or now through our streaming partners, it all works together to really reach a global audience.”
While the parade will be televised live nationwide on ABC, CNN, Fox, Great American Family, KTLA, NBC, Telemundo and Univision, the official live stream offers something special, Eads said.
The crowds are the largest at the start of the Rose Parade, especially in the area referred to as “TV Corner.” (Paul Bersebach, SCNG)With the livestream, every one of the 86 units in the Rose Parade will be featured as they make their way along the iconic 5.5-mile parade route, giving streaming viewers a complete view of the Rose Parade, he said.
The Tournament of Roses launched its first official livestream for the 2024 Rose Parade, giving access to millions more viewers. As viewership trends have changed, younger people don’t want to sit and watch a two-hour broadcast, Eads said; they want a mobile format.
“That’s where streaming became extremely, extremely important to us,” Eads said. “We recognized several years ago that we really needed to move onto streaming platforms to ensure that the parade was available in the form and fashion that people wanted to watch.”

“At the end of the day, it’s about accessibility, it’s about flexibility, and it’s about connecting to viewers where they are,” Eads said. “For that segment of viewership, it’s really important that it’s mobile and they can watch it on their terms.”
The Tournament of Roses has already seen success in numbers for its livestream viewership.
In 2024, the first year of the livestream, the Rose Parade received about 25,000 viewers, Eads said. Then in 2025, they had more than 1.15 million viewers and also had other partners that streamed the parade, such as KTLA, which in totality had more than 2.67 million viewers that accessed the parade through streaming platforms. Officials anticipate seeing more growth in viewership of the 2026 Rose Parade.
Meanwhile, officials are anticipating about 850,000 to a million people in person on New Year’s Day along Colorado Boulevard, and more than 30 million viewers through its traditional television broadcast partners.

The Tournament of Roses’ goal for the livestream is to continue growing its audience.
“We stream across multiple platforms, but our goal is to eventually grow the viewership that we can actually get on a major streaming platform next, like an Apple TV or Amazon Prime,” Eads said. “That’s kind of our long-term goal, but I think we’re making great progress in attracting more viewers through our streaming platforms.”
Eads and the Tournament of Roses encourage people to tune into the 2026 Rose Parade, whether its through their traditional broadcast partners, streaming platforms, or in person along Colorado Boulevard on New Year’s Day.
