LYONS, N.Y. — A Wayne County woman faced charges after threatening someone with a saw on Monday, state police said.
Officials say the incident occurred on Water Street in Lyons, where they responded to an argument that had taken place in connection with a car crash. Rebecca Plyter, 40, from the town of Macedon, approached someone while carrying a battery-powered saw, police say.
Plyter was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, menacing, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a car.
She was transported to Wayne County Jail for CAP arraignment.
