Metcalf got into an altercation with an opposing fan during the Steelers’ 29-24 victory over the Detroit Lions this past weekend, where he was seen grabbing the fan and appearing to throw a punch.
NFL insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero are now reporting that the league has decided to suspend Metcalf for 2 weeks without pay for violating league policy on players confronting fans.

The former Ole Miss standout has been living up to that lucrative deal so far in 2025, becoming Aaron Rodgers’ favorite target and racking up 850 yards and 6 touchdowns, both of which rank first among all Steelers’ players.
Thanks to his suspension, Pittsburgh will now be forced to play its final 2 games of the regular season without one of its best playmakers on offense.
