What a wild week and a half it’s been for the Chicago Bulls. They’ve gone from a seven-game losing streak to winning three of their last four, with a chance to keep it rolling tonight.
Watching the Bulls convincingly beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in a mini two-game set has given their fans a serious “déjà vu” moment. Not a flashback to the ’90s or the 2010s, but to earlier this season, when Chicago opened the year on an out-of-character five-game winning streak and briefly scared the East into thinking there was a new team to worry about. Yes, that team.
With the Bulls set to face the Atlanta Hawks in an early afternoon matchup, now’s the time to savor this rare winning feeling.
Let’s talk Bulls basketball.
Don’t let the injury report fool you. After practice in Atlanta, head coach Billy Donovan said the medical staff reported the team came out of Cleveland unscathed. That opens the door to a very strong possibility the Chicago Bulls could be fully healthy for just the second time this season when they face the Atlanta Hawks.Billy Donovan said after Bulls’ practice in Atlanta today that initial indications from medical staff are that team came out of Cavs game clean. Bulls could be at full strength (not counting Noa Easengue) for only second time this season for Sunday’s matinee vs. Hawks.
— K.C. Johnson (@KCJHoop) December 20, 2025 Speaking of reasons to celebrate, Nikola Vučević could dominate Bulls headlines later today and all he has to do is let it fly. Vučević currently sits at 553 made three-pointers in his five-ish seasons with the Bulls, just two away from tying and three away from passing Michael Jordan for sixth all-time in franchise history. There’s nothing to take away from Vučević and his underrated ability to beat ‘Father Time’, but it really puts into perspective just how much the league has changed since the ’90s, if you didn’t already know that. By the way, Ayo Dosunmu is tied with Derrick Rose for three-pointers made as a Bull, so yeah, this list is absolutely wild. Michael Jordan is always in the news cycle, but apparently, the news doesn’t even need to be true for that to happen. A post on X claimed Jordan has a “secret” account he uses to rage-bait people online. That post reached 11 million users and definitely fooled more than a few. It’s not exactly unheard of for stars to run their own PR (cough cough Kevin Durant) but the fact that this one took off the way it did is honestly hilarious to think about.Michael Jordan admits he has a secret X/Twitter where he rage-baits people. pic.twitter.com/vaY9MrmZFB
— Hoops Crave (@HoopsCrave) December 19, 2025 If that Jordan post didn’t put a smile on your face, this definitely will. Earlier this month, Jalen Smith and Jevon Carter went out for some holiday shopping, not for themselves (that’s not making it into the Bullets), but for kids from Mercy Home. And hey, I’ve heard a rumor that if the Bulls keep winning, that might add a little extra holiday cheer too. It’s a blessing to bless others ❤️@thejalen_smith & @nextlevel_03 teamed up earlier this month to create a special holiday shopping trip for kids from @mercyhome ?Happy Holidays from the Smith and Carter families ❤️ pic.twitter.com/NKCucLxVSA
— Bulls Community (@bullscommunity) December 20, 2025 Around the association, former Bull Zach LaVine has been heavily rumored to be headed back to the Central Division. According to NBA insider Chris Haynes, the Milwaukee Bucks are on the hunt for a “difference-maker” in an effort to keep Giannis Antetokounmpo happy. Word around the league is that the Bucks have done their homework on LaVine and see him as a potential fit. If Milwaukee does manage to pull off a deal, Bulls fans could see the former dunk champion back at the United Center as early as December 27 or as late as March 1.What the Bucks and Warriors are looking for on the trade market for @NBAonPrime. pic.twitter.com/Pl2CcXo5AV
— Chris Haynes (@ChrisBHaynes) December 20, 2025 Also around the league, Taco Bell has been working closely with the Denver Nuggets to get Nikola Jokić to forgive them for having one of their ads play during the moment he was drafted. In an attempt to promote the return of an old product, the same one being advertised at the time, Taco Bell gave out T-shirts to every fan in the arena last night reading, “Give the Quesarito a chance.” Unfortunately, I think relations may have soured even further, as the Nuggets lost that game to the Houston Rockets, adding a little extra heat to those stale memories.Had to up the ante for Nikola ?Nuggets Nation, this is your chance to convince him! pic.twitter.com/ECaVNWRfP7
— Denver Nuggets (@nuggets) December 20, 2025 The Chicago Bulls aren’t far behind on the marketing front either. The United Center announced a collaboration with the globally recognized Japanese cartoon Hello Kitty. On April 5, 2026, fans in attendance for the Bulls vs. Phoenix Suns game will receive a Hello Kitty x Bulls tote bag and keychain. With a Star Wars collaboration already on the horizon, Chicago is clearly pulling out all the stops to keep attendance numbers high. The Bulls are not only winning the NBA — yes, I will milk this sentence until the Bulls run dry — but they’re also putting on a show in the G League. We’re currently in the midst of the NBA G League Winter Showcase, a stage designed for players to show out in front of NBA scouts and GMs for a chance to get called up to the big leagues. Mac McClung, a former multi-time dunk champion and the 2023–24 G League MVP, has long lived on the edge of being too good for the G League, yet not quite sticking in the NBA. In the Windy City Bulls’ 110–102 win over the Memphis Hustle, McClung finished with 23 points, seven assists, five rebounds, and a steal, putting himself firmly back on the radar for another NBA opportunity.Mac McClung was hooping with the Windy City Bulls at the G League Winter Showcase ??? 23 PTS? 7 AST? 5 REB? 1 STL@nbagleague @windycitybulls @McclungMac pic.twitter.com/8zPY8Sgc9d
