Patidar didn’t have the best Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 due to injuries, but might just be the best hitter in India. Riyan Parag was consistent and explosive at various points in the year. One can argue that there are better batters, but considering he bowls off-spin, Parag gets the nod.
Naman Dhir will play the Rinku Singh role. He was one of the best finishers in IPL 2025 and plays the same role for Punjab in domestic cricket. Jitesh Sharma, like Jaiswal, was unlucky to miss out on the main team but will be the keeper here.
Vipraj Nigam will play the Axar Patel role, but unlike him, he will bat at number eight. The leggie can take wickets and hit the long ball, something even the main Indian team doesn’t have. Sai Kishore will be the second spinner. He hasn’t been doing well in domestic cricket of late, but he outshone Rashid Khan for the Gujarat Titans.
Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna will be the two frontline pacers. Khaleel Ahmed, Mohammed Shami, and Harshal Patel are other noteworthy names, but none performed better than they did.
