LSU wide receiver Aaron Anderson announced on his Instagram account on Saturday afternoon that he was declaring for the NFL Draft.
The redshirt junior and New Orleans native will skip his final season of eligibility in Baton Rouge and instead throw his name into the mix for next spring’s draft. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Anderson made sure to thank his coaches, fans and academic advisors at LSU and Alabama, as well as his family for all of their support.
Anderson spent an injury-marred freshman season in 2022 at Alabama, playing sparingly before entering the transfer portal. He landed at SEC rival LSU, where he’s spent the past 3 seasons, combining for 106 catches for 1,341 yards and 5 touchdowns during his time in Baton Rouge.
Now, that time is over as Anderson has decided not to be a part of Lane Kiffin‘s first team at LSU in 2026.
