Known for dancing around the room in the film to the synth-pop classic “Maniac,” Beals lit up the movie screen with her sweaty curls and untraditional dance moves.
Beals celebrated her 62nd birthday on Friday, but as anyone who remembers her role in that delightful film can tell, she has barely aged. In a video shared to her Instagram account last week, Beals asked followers to celebrate her birthday alongside her by fundraising for an organization that's near and dear to her heart, the Gay, Lesbian, & Straight Education Network (GLSEN).
