The Rochester Americans will host the popular Teddy Bear Toss, presented by Bob Johnson Auto Group and benefiting the Pirate Toy Fund, on Friday, December 19 when they face the Belleville Senators.

Fans are encouraged to bring new teddy bears and stuffed animals to toss onto the ice after the Amerks’ first goal. If no goal is scored by the second period, the toss will happen during intermission. Limited-edition stuffed Moose will be available in the Amerks Team Store for purchase.

All items will be donated to the Pirate Toy Fund, which provides toys year-round to children in need across Greater Rochester. The first 1,000 kids at the game will receive pirate hats.
