Stracke sat down with ABC News' Nightline on Thursday, Dec. 18 to discuss the terrifying ordeal.
The home invasion occurred on Nov. 15 while Stracke was attending BravoCon in Las Vegas. Stracke's co-star Kathy Hilton's home was also targeted over the same weekend. The men that burglarized Stracke's home stole over $1 million worth of jewelry and luxury handbags. As of Dec. 18, none of the stolen items from her home have been recovered.
Stracke believes that she may have been targeted because it was public knowledge she would be out of town for BravoCon that weekend. Stracke also told ABC that the Los Angeles Police Department knew the home invasion had occurred as her front door was wide open when her dog walker arrived at the home the following morning.
Stracke notified her fellowRHOBH co-stars about the burglary, urging them to take extra precautions in securing their homes. Stracke also reflected on if the luxurious lifestyles showcased on RHOBH could have put her in a vulnerable position.
Stracke also told ABC, "I can't allow myself to live in fear of being on this show and not letting our viewers experience things in its most authentic, truest form."
