ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Brandon Washington, also known as “B-Mack,” who pleaded guilty to a drug conspiracy tied to the murder of a Rochester police officer, will be sentenced in federal court. Washington faces 15 years to life in prison.
Police said Washington hired Kelvin Vickers to kill rival drug dealers in Rochester, which led to the death of Officer Anthony Mazurkiewicz in July 2022. Vickers is serving a life sentence in prison.
Washington’s sentencing is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17. After the sentencing, the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of New York will host a press conference with the Rochester Police Department, ATF, DEA, FBI, and U.S. Marshals.
