ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A big support system for families has returned to the Monroe County Hall of Justice in Rochester, the Children’s Center is reopening to offer families a safe place for kids while parents work on legal matters.
The center will once again provide free, drop-in childcare, run by “Skies the Limit.”
“We wanna try to isolate kids from what’s going on in the adult world, safe space for them, that really will help them mentally as well as physically going forward,” said Stacey Romeo, NYS Supreme Court Judge.
The courthouse center offers a literacy-rich space for kids, and helps connect families with health, nutrition, and educational programs.
