BATAVIA, N.Y. — A new police station will open Monday in the City of Batavia, with all police operations to be handled out of the new facility at 31 Bank St. beginning at 7 a.m. Monday. The opening follows 18 months of construction. The city will plan a ribbon-cutting ceremony and public open house sometime in the future.
The lobby will be open to the public between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, with parking available to the general public on Bank Street and in the adjacent mall parking lot. Alva Place will remain closed from Bank Street to the mall parking lot entrance while final construction wraps up.
