Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, on Friday announced the dates for the annual High School Certificate (HSC) or the Matric Examination 2026.
The Class 10 board examinations will begin on February 19, 2026, and will continue till March 2, 2026. All papers will be held in a single shift from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
According to the timetable released by the Board, the examination will start with the First Language paper on February 19, followed by Second Language (English/Hindi) on February 21 and Third Language (Sanskrit/Hindi/Odia/Persian) on February 23.
The Science paper is scheduled for February 25, Social Science on February 27, and the final paper, Mathematics, will be conducted on March 2. Students appearing for Mathematics will get an additional 15 minutes of cool-off time to read the question paper.
