Before that, Judge coached in the NFL for over a decade. He was a special teams assistant for the New England Patriots from 2012-2014 under Bill Belichick before serving as special teams coordinator from 2015-2018, adding wide receivers coach to his duties in 2019.

He was then the New York Giants’ head coach for two seasons. After his firing, he returned to New England as an assistant head coach.

Judge has been instrumental in the development of Trinidad Chambliss, as the former Division II national champion has developed into one of the top QBs in FBS and has been key in helping the Rebels seal a first-ever College Football Playoff appearance. After taking over for original starter Austin Simmons, Chambliss has thrown for 3,016 yards and 18 touchdowns versus just three interceptions. He has also run for 478 yards and 6 scores.
