The winter high school sports season may be getting underway, but fall athletes haven’t completely surrendered the spotlight quite yet.

Justifiably so.

All but one fall sport — football — has concluded, and most postseason all-state honors have been dished out by the Colorado High School Activities Association.

The latest of which, unified bowling, saw multiple local athletes earn noteworthy accolades.

Fort Lupton junior Trenton Hernandez and his freshman teammate Landon Kokoszka earned spots on the all-state team after leading the Bluedevils to a fourth-place finish at the state championships Nov. 21 at Lucky Strike in Lone Tree.

Northridge, the state champion a year ago, finished seventh at state, and seniors Annabelle Cox and Ethan Wahlmeier were named to the all-state team.

Windsor junior Erik Andersen and freshman Lola Stephens also were named to the all-state team, as the Wizards placed eighth at state.
