Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. returned to practice on Wednesday after missing the last two games while recovering from appendicitis surgery.
Harrison was limited on Wednesday’s injury report.

Before undergoing surgery, Harrison had not missed a game since his NFL debut in Week 1 of 2024, and the Cardinals leaned heavier on Michael Wilson as WR1 in his absence. Wilson caught 25 passes for 303 yards in those two games.
The Cardinals listed several key players on both sides of the ball as nonparticipants, including edge rusher Josh Sweat (eye), edge rusher Baron Browning (concussion) and running back Emari Demercado (ankle).
Walter Nolen III (knee) has already been ruled out.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield misses practice
The Cardinals have to prepare for two quarterbacks this week, as Buccaneers starter Baker Mayfield is uncertain to play due to a left shoulder sprain.
Mayfield was a nonparticpant at Tampa Bay’s practice (walkthrough) on Wednesday, telling reporters, “If it’s gonna hinder how I play, then I probably won’t go. But I won’t know that until later in the week of getting practice reps and see how that goes.”
Veteran Teddy Bridgewater is Tampa Bay’s backup quarterback.
Mayfield suffered the injury during Tampa Bay’s 34-7 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night Football. He has not missed a game since taking over as the Buccaneers’ starting quarterback in 2023.
The Bucs are 6-5 and looking to hold off an underwhelming field in the NFC South.
