GATES, N.Y. — Gates Police are investigating after two suspects were caught on camera breaking into cars and stealing from them in a neighborhood near Elmgrove Road.
In the video, two suspects are seen going from car to car smashing its windows and climbing halfway in, then rummaging through stuff in the car. Police say this happened on November 22 into November 23, and a sergeant spotted a possible get away car for the suspect and tried to stop it.
Officers say the car wouldn’t stop, and drove east toward Rochester reaching over 110 miles per hour. The sergeant ended up losing sight of the car.
