Arizona State needed to win out with help in the form of losses by contenders to still make it back to the Big 12 title, and the help came to an extent on Saturday.
There are two simple scenarios that get the Sun Devils in, and it starts with beating Arizona in the Territorial Cup on Friday. Then, it all comes down to whether BYU can beat UCF at home on Saturday.
If BYU loses, ASU gets in with the win. If BYU loses, ASU needs Texas Tech (at West Virginia) and Utah (at Kansas) to both lose.
