We put together an inspiration playlist with some favorite artists like Alison Krauss and Nickel Creek and Little Big Town and took it to my favorite producer in Nashville, Nathan Nockels, to help with orchestrating and recording. We even got [Wicked composer and lyricist] Stephen Schwartz’s blessing to proceed with this newly imagined version of his classic. Some incredible Nashville musicians jumped in to make this dream a reality.”
