RMSC Holiday Bazaar (Friday through Sunday)
RMSC is holding its 53rd annual Holiday Bazaar Arts and Crafts Sale. More than 150 artists will take part, selling ceramics, jewelry, glass, woodwork, paintings, photography, fiber arts, floral crafts, and more.
The bazaar runs from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. There will also be food and beverages at the Cunningham House studio. To find out the schedule and to buy tickets, visit here.
Flower City Tattoo Convention (Friday through Sunday)
The Flower City Tattoo Convention is returning to the Rochester Riverside Convention Center, celebrating the art of tattoo design.
The convention will draw hundreds of tattoo artists from across the globe, featuring all kinds of styles, including American traditional, Japanese Irezumi, tribal tattoos, black and grey realism, and more. The convention was founded by Rob DPiazza, a tattoo artist and advocate for the craft.
There will be tattoo awards, seminars, and live music at the convention. It runs from noon to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday. You can learn more here.
Red Creek Turkey Troy (Saturday)
The Village of Red Creek in Wayne County is holding its turkey trot early. The 5K race through the village starts at 9 a.m. It starts and ends at the Red Creek Community Center.
You can pick up your packet or register starting at 8 a.m. You can also register online here. All Red Creek students can run for free with a code. The first 100 runners will get a medal. There will also be a kids’ fun run that starts at 8:45 a.m. It’s for kids ages 4 to 12.
