The storylines surrounding Ole Miss’ Lane Kiffin are abundant, but reports emerged earlier Wednesday that Jon Sumrall would be meeting with representatives from Florida later in the night.
Of course, that report was later refuted, and with On3’s Florida beat writer being the one to break the news before the outlet’s national insider said the meeting had been called off. NOLA.com’s Tulane source disputed that there was ever a meeting in the first place.
So amidst it all, Sumrall decided to have some fun. He posted an image to X/Twitter with the caption: “Most important meeting I have all week…Wednesday Night with QB’s! @On3sports”
Sumrall appears to be locked in to potentially guiding two-loss Tulane to a College Football Playoff appearance…at least for this evening.
