The Chicago Bulls must love playing in Denver.
On Monday night, the team snapped its five-game losing streak in clutch fashion with a 130-127 victory over the 10-2 Denver Nuggets. Fresh off a tough loss in double OT only 24 hours earlier, their ability to take control over one of the West’s top teams certainly came as a surprise. Their bench proved to be the real difference-maker, as they outscored the starters 66-64. More importantly, the second unit dropped 57 more points than Denver’s reserves.
The impressive performance led the Bulls fans in attendance to make their voices heard down the stretch. During a timeout with 38.5 seconds left and Chicago up a slim 123-122, “Let’s Go Bulls” chants started to rain down from the Ball Arena stands. Players near the bench could be seen pumping up the crowd some more during the break in action.

All things considered, it’s always rather shocking to hear chants for the opposing team take over an entire arena. But this has somehow become a trend in Denver for the Bulls despite their year-over-year struggles. We can go all the way back to 2021, when cheers for the Bulls were so loud in the Nuggets’ arena that the PA system had to drown out the noise.
We can also rewind to just last season, when Coby White chants could be picked up over the broadcast on Denver’s home floor. White finished with 37 points – it was his third straight game with 30+ points at the time – on 11-22 shooting from the field and a 10-11 night at the free throw line.
I guess it just goes to show how the Bulls continue to be one of the NBA’s best brands. Fans are all over the country and ready to show up, especially in the Mile High City!
