The shooting was reported at approximately 1:47 a.m. in the 1500 block of North Honore near Milwaukee Avenue. Police said officers responded to a call of a person shot and found an unidentified man who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim, who was said to be 18 to 25 years old, was transported to an area hospital, where he died.
No one was in custody, and Area Five detectives were investigating.
