Train released their iconic song and album of the same name, Drops of Jupiter, nearly 25 years ago, but that wasn’t all the band was celebrating on the talk show.
OnLive With Kelly and Mark, Train, featuring the only original member Pat Monahan and the rest of the current band, Jerry Becker, Hector Maldonado, Matt Musty, and Butch Walker, gathered for a surprise. It turns out that as the band is celebrating 25 years of their mega hit song "Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)," it has earned another major feat.
Ripa presented the guys with a framed photo that said "Train" above a record with a diamond in the middle and the words “Diamond Single” written on it. There was no shortage of smiles for the special occasion.

Train was formed in 1993 after singer Monahan and guitarist Rob Hotchkiss met in San Francisco. They played as a duo for a while before recruiting guitarist Jimmy Stafford, bassist Charlie Colin, and drummer Scott Underwood to form the iconic rock band.
Before “Drops of Jupiter”, Train had mega hits like "Meet Virginia," “Free,” and “I Am.”
