2025 Arizona Interscholastic Association Division I State Championships
Nov. 7-8 Mesa, Arizona SCY (25 yards) Results: Girls; BoysTwo teams with championship histories added to them at the Arizona Interscholastic Association Division I State Championships this past weekend.
The Brophy College Prep boys team repeated as champion and won its 44th overall state title, while the Desert Vista girls team won its second title in three years and fourth overall.

Desert Vista returned to the top of the podium thanks to the tandem of senior Ellie Kayser and freshman Marley Spray.
Committed to Wisconsin, Kayser won the 200 free in a personal best time of 1:51.02 and the 500 free in a time of 4:52.17, repeating as champion in both events.
Spray won the 200 IM in a time of 2:01.93, the 100 back in a time of 55.25, and was a part of two winning relay teams.
In the 200 medley relay, Spray, Alexandra Volkova, Myra Strei and Holland Stocker teamed to win that event in 1:45.25.
The quartet of Spray, Streit, Alexa Largent and Kayser later won the 400 free relay in a time of 3:28.49.
Boulder Creek won the 200 free relay in a time of 1:36.99 behind the team of Karen Chang, Mollie Newell, Kelly Chang and Delaney Barber.
Other individual winners were:
Chaparral freshman Remington Willard took the 50 free in a time of 23.13. Red Mountain senior Abbey Gardner won diving with 464 points, just 6.5 ahead of Riley Steinhilber of Arizona College Prep. Xaver College Prep freshman Ainsley Boerckel topped the field in the 100 fly with a personal best time of 56.33. Mountain View Mesa senior Emilie Griffin was first in the 100 free in a personal best time of 51.33. Xavier College Prep sophomore Adelyn Burns won the 100 breast in 1:02.87, repeating as champion in the event.Girls Team Standings — Top 5

Just like the Desert Vista girls, the Brophy College Prep boys won handily, finishing 322 points ahead of runner-up Mountain View Mesa.
Leading the way for Brophy was senior SMU commit Mark Heffern, who won the 200 IM in a time of 1:51.38 and was a part of Brophy’s winning team in the 200 medley relay that finished in a time of 1:35.75.
Finn Conley, Brayden Harrison and Noah Heimer were the other team members.
The 200 free relay was won by Mountain View Mesa’s team of Gavin Willyerd, Lewis Turley, Benson Ellingson and Joey Caliendo in a time of 1:25.31.
In the 400 free relay, Millennium’s quartet of Zac Clark, Alex Arnold, Ewan Cain and Cole Faut took first in a time of 3:06.37.
The only multiple-event winer was Arizona College Prep junior Tennessee commit Langston Lindsey, who won the 50 free in 20.56 and defended his 100 back title in a time of 48.63.
Other individual winners:
Higley senior Grant Kellis won the 200 free in a personal best time of 1:38.18. Ryder Hamann of Chaparral won the diving competition with 525.65 points. Liberty senior Aydan Prassas topped the field in the 100 fly in a personal best time of 48.80. Faut, an Arizona commit, won the 100 free in a personal best time of 45.16. Willyerd, who has committed to BYU, captured the 500 free in a personal best time of 4:26.72.
