CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — A man has been arrested after an investigation into a threat toward the Granger Homestead and Carriage Museum in Canandaigua, which prompted the museum to cancel an event.
Michael Keit, 56, of Ontario County, is charged with making a terroristic threat. Canandaigua Police say he was also wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service in connection with a bank robbery in Buffalo.
Police say Keit made a threat on Friday toward the Christkindl Dance at the museum. Organizers decided to cancel the event planned for Saturday for the safety of staff and guests.
