Box Score & Player Grades: Bucks 126, Bulls 110 – November 7, 2025 ...Middle East

Unlike Tuesday’s game against the Sixers, the Bulls got out to a fast start in this one.

They played some outstanding first-quarter defense and used a hot offensive start to take a 25-23 lead after the first frame. Defensively, it felt like they did a great job rotating and staying active on and off the ball. Offensively, they were fun to watch, moving the ball, working to create open looks, and hitting shots. Not only has Josh Giddey developed a three-point shot and at least upped his effort defensively, but he’s also gotten so much more comfortable using his body and size to create space for himself and his teammates. He’s been a treat to watch in 2025.

In the second quarter, though, the Bucks came back and outscored the Bulls 30-27 to take a one-point lead into the locker room at halftime. The Bulls didn’t play great, but they weren’t awful either. They just kind of didn’t have Giannis, and the Bucks did.

The third quarter was a lot of the same. After starting the game 6-6, Matas Buzelis cooled off a bit, which didn’t help. Milwaukee kept looking like they’d pull away, but the Bulls kept coming back and hitting shots to bring them right back, including a Buzelis triple to close out the third that brought the score from 85-77 to 85-80.

The fourth quarter started similarly, with Giannis and the Bucks jumping out to bigger leads with Billy Donovan’s team coming up with shots to bring them back within striking distance. Unfortunately, every time the Bulls felt like they were within striking distance, Milwaukee would go on another mini-run. Credit to Chicago for not going away, but the inability to close the gap killed them, and it felt like the Bucks kept cashing in on second-chance opportunities at just the worst times.

With just over five minutes left, Giannis hit the dagger with a three to give Milwaukee a 107-99 lead, then after the Bulls came up empty on their next possession, Antetokounmpo threw down an alley oop to make it a 10-point lead.

The Bulls weren’t great tonight, but they weren’t terrible either. Milwaukee simply had Giannis, and Chicago didn’t. The good news is, the Bulls will get another chance tomorrow night in Cleveland.

Bulls Player Grades

Josh Giddey – B-Stats: 16 PTS, 14 AST, 7 REB,

Giddey got off to a great start, and while he slowed through the game offensively, you can still just tell how much he makes the offense go. He’s a calming presence with the ball, hits shots when the team needs one, and he just feels so comfortable with his game and running the offense right now. Having said that, four turnovers are just too many, and it wasn’t his most efficient shooting night.

Nikola Vucevic – CStats: 16 PTS, 6 REB

Not Vooch’s best night. Against Philly on Tuesday, he was really good on the glass; tonight, not as much. He’s never going to be a great rim protector, but while Giannis was dominating inside, Vucevic didn’t really do much at all on the glass. He finished with just five boards on the evening, and the Bucks ‘ chance points killed the Bulls all night long.

Matas Buzelis – BStats: 20 PTS, 8 REB, 3 AST, 2 STL, 1 BLK

He slowed a little bit after his red-hot start in the first quarter, but he was really solid again tonight and impacted the game in multiple ways. I love that he’s not shy to put up open looks from deep, and in year two, he already looks a lot more comfortable. Not to mention, he’s turning into a very solid defender.

Tre Jones – B-Stats: 17 PTS, 5 REB, 4 AST, 6-10 FG

Tre Jones was just really solid again tonight. He showed off his passing skills, shot 60% from the field, and grabbed five boards. He’s benefited the most in terms of extra minutes in Coby White’s absence, and he’s taking advantage of those looks.
