ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Applications are now open for an emergency family support grant to help families in need.
Rochester City Councilmember Stanley Martin is partnering with VOCAL-NY to provide one-time $200 grants for food for 25 families.
To qualify, applicants must be city residents, parents or primary caretakers of at least one child under 18, and SNAP recipients.
Applications are open through Sunday. Families will be contacted Monday to be notified of their grant award.
