Harold Fannin Jr. (Browns) was one of the highest recommended TE waiver wire pickup this week.
Analysis
Harold Fannin Jr., Browns — Rostered in 42% of Yahoo Leagues (Suggested 4-6% FAAB Bid)
Coming off his bye week, Harold Fannin Jr. has ended up at just 42% rostership on Yahoo, despite being a fringe TE1 through the first half of his rookie year. He saw 23 targets over the three weeks before the bye, catching 17 passes for 179 yards and a touchdown over that stretch. While you’re not going to feel confident starting Fannin, he is squarely in the large tier of middling options from roughly TE8 to TE20, and has more upside than many, considering he’s still a first-year tight end with room to develop.
Recommendation: Should be added in 12-team leagues

Who are the best stashes from the Fantasy Football TE Rankings?
Colston Loveland (Bears) is the best tight end stash ahead of Week 10.
Analysis
Colston Loveland vs. Giants (24%)
We’re kicking things off with the same two “top plays” as last week, and they happen to be playing each other, so we’ll get to find out who was the better option in real time on Sunday afternoon.
Even if we were concerned about Colson Loveland’s place in the pecking order of the Chicago Bears’ pass-catchers, it’d be pretty hard to ignore his 6-118-2 stat line against the woebegone Bengals defense. Yes, Cole Kmet was sidelined for most of the contest, and Loveland’s game-winning, 58-yard touchdown came against some of the worst pass defense you’ll ever see, but what are the odds they shove their 10th-overall pick back into a complementary role after that type of performance?
That “complementary” role had already started to shift in the three weeks prior to his breakout. During that stretch, Loveland posted a 60.4% route participation rate compared to Cole Kmet’s 25.0%, and a 15.6% first-read rate versus Kmet’s 5.1%. Those marks were major improvements from earlier in the season, when he sat at just 38.4% and 8.5%, respectively.
The Giants don’t have quite as soft of a defense —which isn’t saying much— but they have allowed 35 points per game over the last three as they deal with several injuries in their secondary. That may move the needle toward a Rome Odunze breakout, but Loveland could legitimately serve as the No. 2 pass-catcher, with plenty of touchdown equity. He is available in 76% of Yahoo leagues.
