Around 6:10 p.m. Tuesday, a 4-year-old girl sustained a gunshot wound to her left leg in an apartment on the 3100 block of West Franklin Boulevard in the city’s East Garfield Park neighborhood, police said.

The girl was transported to a local hospital in good condition, authorities said.

Area Three Detectives are investigating.
