The Colorado High School Activities Association on Monday released brackets for this weekend’s girls volleyball regional tournaments.

Predictably, local programs are featured prominently.

Windsor is the second seed in the 32-team 4A postseason. The Wizards (16-7) will play host to No. 23 Pueblo East (16-7) and No. 35 Mountain View (9-14) at a to-be-announced time and day this weekend.

Each regional tournament’s winner will advance to the state tournament, Nov. 13-15 at the Denver Coliseum.

University (18-5) is seeded third in 4A. It will play host to No. 22 Air Academy (12-11) and No. 34 Severance (9-14), beginning with a match between the two local teams — the Bulldogs and Silver Knights — at 4:30 p.m. Friday at University Middle School.

Roosevelt (16-7) is the 15th seed in 4A. It will face No. 10 Green Mountain (17-6) around 11:30 a.m. Saturday and No. 27 Longmont (10-13) around 2 p.m. in Lakewood.

Fort Lupton (13-10) is seeded 33rd in 4A. The Bluedevils will travel to Parker to take on fourth-seeded Lutheran (17-6) at 3 p.m. Friday and No. 21 Thomas Jefferson (16-7) around 4:30 p.m.

Resurrection Christian (21-2) is the second seed in the 36-team 3A postseason. The Cougars will play host to No. 35 Eagle Ridge Academy (9-14) at 11 a.m. Saturday before taking on No. 23 Banning Lewis Academy (17-6) around 2 p.m.

Eaton (19-4) is seeded third in 3A. The Reds will try to defend their homecourt against No. 34 Estes Park (12-11) at 4 p.m. Friday and will face No. 22 Colorado Academy (12-9) around 7 p.m.

Windsor Charter (15-8), the 16th seed in 3A, will face No. 28 The Academy (9-14) around 11:30 and ninth-seeded regional host Gunnison (18-5) around 1 p.m. Saturday.

Platte Valley (12-11) sits at 18th in 3A. The Broncos will travel to Colorado Springs and will face No. 30 DSST: Conservatory Green (11-12) and seventh-seeded The Classical Academy (21-2) at a to-be-determined time and day this weekend.

Highland (16-7), the 19th seed in 2A, will face No. 31 Haxtun (8-15) around 11:30 a.m. before matching up with sixth-seeded regional host Sanford (18-3) around 1 p.m. Saturday.

Dayspring Christian (12-10) is seeded 24th in 2A. It will face No. 36 Center (12-10) and top-seeded regional host Simla (21-2) at a to-be-announced time and day.

Prairie (17-6) is seeded 10th out of 24 teams in the 1A postseason. The Mustangs will play host to No. 15 Flagler (15-8) at 5 p.m. Friday with a state berth on the line.
