Jarmaine Mitchell, a 6-foot-8 offensive tackle prospect in the 2026 class, announced his commitment to the Bulldogs. Mitchell had been a Mississippi State pledge since August, but Georgia had been working on his recruitment and pulled off the flip on Friday.

He took an official visit to Georgia in September.
Mitchell is considered the top offensive tackle in the 2026 JUCO class. He’s the eighth-ranked junior college player overall, according to the industry-generated 247 Composite. During his prep career, Mitchell started at left tackle for his football team in addition to competing in basketball and track and field.
His flip from Mississippi State leaves Jeff Lebby and the Bulldogs with 4 publicly committed offensive line prospects in the cycle. The Bulldogs have 22 known commits overall.
