ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Happy Halloween! Unfortunately, Mother Nature bring more tricks than treats this year. Yellow Alert Friday for windswept showers and strong gusts during the late afternoon and evening. Kids need to be prepared for some rough weather for tick-or-treating this year. Showers look likely, especially near Lake Ontario. Temps will be on the cold side in the 40s with the feel like windchill in the 30s. Gusts later today and tonight will top 30-40mph with some gusts near 50 along the lakeshore.
After tonight the weather calms down and gets better over the weekend. Saturday will remain cool and breezy with a few showers in the morning and then some sunshine for Sunday and mainly dry weather expected. Looking pleasant for the big Bills game Sunday afternoon. Another strong front will approach later Monday with showers and wind on the increase once again with below normal temps for much of next week. Stay tuned to News10NBC for the latest live look at First Alert Doppler 10 radar before heading out this evening.
