Kedon Slovis is the third quarterback on the active roster, and Arizona does not have a fourth on the practice squad.

The Cardinals play on Monday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys, so the first injury report of the week will come out on Thursday. There will be a quick turnaround for the Cardinals, as the NFL trade deadline is on Tuesday.

Trask was a second-round pick in 2021 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 6-foot-5 quarterback was a Heisman Trophy finalist in 2020 with Florida.

He backed up Tom Brady for two years and Baker Mayfield for another two before hitting free agency. The former Gator has seven games of NFL experience without a start.

Driskel returns to the Cardinals after he spent much of the 2023 season as a backup/practice squad quarterback in Arizona. The 32-year-old has been in the NFL since 2018 and has 25 games (18 starts) of experience. Driskel last started a game at the end of the 2023 season for the Cleveland Browns, when he completed 50% of his throws for 166 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.

Woodside, a 2018 seventh-rounder out of Toledo, has 14 pass attempts in 13 NFL games played (no starts).

Among the pass-catching tryouts, Swinson may be a name familiar to Valley sports fans. He played for the Arizona State Sun Devils from 2022-23. The 6-foot-8 tight end caught 21 passes with two touchdowns for ASU.

Rice is the son of NFL legend Jerry Rice and a Valley native, having played for Hamilton High School before attending Colorado. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in the seventh round in 2024 and played in three games as a rookie.
