“I have never made a decision off money, nor will I,” Kiffin said. “I’ve seen too many examples in life where money does not buy happiness.

Kiffin’s focus is squarely on the current team. Ole Miss is 7-1 overall, 4-1 in the SEC, and coming off a big road win at Oklahoma. Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss threw for 315 yards and a touchdown, while Kewan Lacy ran for two scores. Freshman wide receiver Winston Watkins added 111 yards on just four catches, proving the Rebels’ offense is loaded with playmakers.
The game was closer than it needed to be, with Oklahoma threatening late, but Ole Miss held on thanks to a Lucas Carneiro clutch 37-yard field goal late in the fourth.
