The blonde beauty, 66, rose to stardom in iconic '80s flicks like Cocktail, Road House, and Drugstore Cowboy. She's still leaving her mark on the acting world, and recently reunited with her Cowboy director Gus Van Sant for an appearance in his film Dead Man's Wire. But the star is also a sight to be seen on the red carpet, and that's why we were delighted to see her dazzle at the C Magazine 20th anniversary celebration at the Chateau Marmont on Thursday in Los Angeles, California, in a black sequined cocktail dress that had fun written all over it. With a feathered bottom that was perfect for hitting the dance floor, the dress shimmered in the light of the cameras. Lynch paired the dress with gold jewelry and her trademark blonde hair.

While life is great for Lynch these days, things weren't always wonderful. At 20 years old, she nearly died in a car accident in Minnesota that shattered her femurs and thigh bones. Her mother had to fight the doctors to stop them from amputating her legs.
With the help of a surgeon who put "all this mechanical stuff down my legs," Lynch learned how to walk again. While she still suffers some effects of the accident, she knows just how lucky she is to be alive.
Kelly's a Devoted Mom
Earlier this week, Lynch took to Instagram to wish her daughter, writer Shane Lynch, a happy birthday.
