ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra is set to begin its first-ever Beethoven Festival Thursday night.
The festival will run for two weeks and feature four performances of Beethoven’s masterpieces, including his most popular symphonies.
“You’re going to hear all the best of Beethoven symphonies—number 5, number 6, and of course number 7 of dance,” said RPO’s Music Director Andreas Delfs.
The event will take place at Kodak Hall in the Eastman Theater.
“It’s going to be Beethoven for Beethoven lovers and those who want to be Beethoven lovers,” said Delfs.
