“4:30 every day,” Kerr shared. “They know it’s dinner time.”
“4:30 dinner is myself and the kids. Obviously not my husband, except for on the weekends. And you know, on the weekends he'll join us for 4:30 dinner. And honestly, because that way I don't feel rushed—I'm not rushing the kids to get through dinner to then get to bath—because you know what it's like, kids move at their own speed. And I want to sit down and have a beautiful meal together and try to talk about their day.”

The show’s hosts weren’t the only listeners surprised by Kerr’s daily routine. Opinionated fans were quick to share their thoughts in favor of and against the seemingly early dinner schedule.
“As a kid, I would eat dinner at 4:30. It’s normal,” added another.
Some fans, however, noted a 4:30 family dinner time would be impractical for their own lifestyle.
Another fan liked the idea in theory, but offered her own take, writing, “Early dinner is everything, but 4:30 is a bit much lol. 5:30.”
Is Early Dinner Time Better for Kids?
If Miranda Kerr’s 4:30 dinner time has you questioning your own brood’s eating habits, both Parents Magazine and The Food Institute note cultural shifts toward earlier dinner times and even suggest the trend may help reduce snacking. Plus, there’s the added benefit of not having to deal with a hangry child waiting for dinner to be served.
