If you watched any of the Bears game last night or tracked any of the reaction today, you’re likely well aware of how critical the Monday Night Football broadcast crew – mainly Troy Aikman – was of Caleb Williams and the Bears’ performance last night. Whether it was calling D’Andre Swift’s late 55-yard touchdown pass lucky or nitpicking any of Caleb Williams’ throws, Aikman didn’t exactly sound like a neutral commentator last night.
Apparently, the Bears QB1 even noticed.
Tuesday afternoon, Caleb Williams had some fun on Instagram with all the reaction to Aikman’s call, posting a picture of last night’s hero, Jake Moody, smiling during his college days at Michigan. Williams captioned the post:

I’m sure some people won’t love Caleb taking to social media to troll the former Cowboys quarterback and Hall of Famer for his call last night, but I don’t really have a problem with it. The Bears picked up a massive win in primetime last night, and Caleb Williams has heard about as much criticism as any first overall pick has had to deal with in recent years. If he wants to have some fun with it, so be it!
