According to TMZ, the Oscar-nominated actor and his brother StephenBaldwin got into an accident in East Hampton, New York, on Monday. The publication alleges the brothers barreled head-first into a tree while driving a Range Rover.
"I got all these inquiries about my car thing this morning. I was in an accident this morning. I'm fine. My brother Stephen was visiting me on Long Island, and we spent the weekend out there for the film festival." he said.
In the video, Alec explained from his perspective what caused the accident and that the car he was driving belonged to his wife Hilaria Baldwin.

The actor also mentioned he was going to California soon to "gather" his family, who are presumably out there due to Hilaria's tenure on Dancing With The Stars. Hilaria and her partner Gleb Savchenko were eliminated last week despite consistently scoring near the top of the leaderboard.
