Although Hagar’s birthday isn’t actually until Monday, Oct. 13, he was in full-on party mode on Saturday in a video featuring him and Carlisle on stage. As Hagar’s band, including famed drummer Kenny Arnoff who is seen in the clip, pounds out the opening of the Go-Go’s 1982 hit “We Got the Beat,” Hagar exclaims, “I always wanted to dance with her!” Carlisle then launches into the song with Hagar joining her on the chorus and attempting to replicate her dance moves.
Aside from the video clip, Carlisle also posted on Instagram a graphic that reveals Hagar’s celebration isn’t a one-night affair. The sign reveals that the “BDAY BASH” dates are Oct. 7, 9, 11 and 13, so Hagar has one more night of celebrating to do. There’s also a photo of the front of the famed restaurant/bar and photo of a T-shirt that features Hagar running out of a King of Diamonds/13 playing card, wearing a crown.
