ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A cool and cloudy start will give way to nice clearing skies this afternoon with mild temperatures alongside a slight breeze out of the east. Overall today will be the best day of the long weekend; great for any outdoor plans!
As a nor’easter tracks up the Atlantic coast today, it will push in some Atlantic moisture into our area overnight, resulting in some scattered showers that last through tomorrow morning. Not looking at anything long lasting or significant, so we’ll keep it Green on the Threat Tracker. The rain subsides and holds east of Rochester the rest of the day. The biggest question is how far east the rain will hold off… Right now looking like it’ll be near the border of Yates and Seneca County. For the rest of the region, cloudy skies, a slight breeze, and cooler temperatures with highs around 60.
Tuesday is much nicer for the region with highs in the mid 60s and mostly sunny skies, then a cold front passes through Wednesday morning which will give us three straight days in the low to mid 50s at best. Starting to feel like fall!
