MONTECITO, Calif. (KEYT) – First responders are on the scene of a rescue for an injured hiker on Hot Springs Trail Thursday.

According to the Montecito Fire Department, the hiker suffered an ankle injury about half-a-mile up the trail and firefighters are working to bring them down in a rescue basket.

AMR is standing by to take the hiker to the hospital for further medical treatment added the Montecito Fire Department.
