Kendre Miller (Saints) was the highest-recommended RB waiver wire pickup this week.
Analysis
In their first win of the season, the Saints gave Kendre Miller more carries (10) than Alvin Kamara (eight) on 41.9% of the snaps (Kamara saw 53.2%). Miller was also more effective with his work, averaging 4.1 per carry to Kamara’s 3.4 — a week after Miller averaged 5.9 yards on 11 carries last week (with a touchdown). Kamara will always remain involved, especially as a receiver, but it looks like New Orleans might be tilting towards Miller as a rusher more and more. If this trend continues, and Miller starts seeing the majority of work, you can start playing him in fantasy.
Should anything happen to the oft-injured, 30-year-old Kamara, Miller would have strong RB2 upside. Get him on your roster now before the price goes up.
Recommendation: Should be added in 12-team leagues

Who are the best stashes from the Fantasy Football RB Rankings?
Chargers options and Zavier Scott are the best running back stashes ahead of Week 6.
Hassan Haskins (2%) and Kimani Vidal (1%), RB – Chargers
This is a tough situation, and one I’d prefer to ignore, but I understand that there are league sizes out there where that’s simply not an option. With Omarion Hampton hitting the IR and Najee Harris already out for the season, the Chargers will (presumably) look toward Hassan Haskins and former sixth-round selection, Kimani Vidal, to run their backfield. I say “presumably” because there is a (very) strong chance that the team looks outside the organization, either through free agency or a trade, to find a more concrete solution.
Vidal is the younger option of the two but has been hanging out on the practice squad, while Haskins has 64 total rush attempts since being selected by the Titans in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Haskins is the preferred option here, but don’t clear out anything too valuable at this point to get him.
Zavier Scott, RB – Vikings (2%)
Heading into the Minnesota Vikings’ bye week, it’s clear that the team is beginning to feel more comfortable with Zavier Scott earning a role in this offense, reducing his special teams snaps, and even completely removing him from the kickoff team. Though he would end up losing a fumble against the Browns, Jordan Mason also lost a fumble during the team’s opening drive, his second of the season. Scott likely isn’t a serious threat to Mason’s short-yardage or goal-line role, no matter how many times the ball hits the ground.
Still, Scott already has a 6-43-1 receiving game on his resume from back in Week 4, and a healthier offensive line (and a game without the Browns’ defensive front on the other side) will help the offense feel more at ease with their running backs leaving the backfield.
