The Las Vegas Raiders announced on Sunday morning that star tight end Brock Bowers will be inactive for Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts because of a PCL injury and a bone bruise in his knee.
The Raiders said the former Georgia standout’s status will be considered week to week and that Bowers will be re-evaluated this coming week to determine whether he’ll play against the Tennessee Titans next Sunday. Bowers had played in all 4 of the Raiders’ games this season despite the injuries, but his production had gone down since catching 5 passes for 103 yards in a victory at New England in Week 1.
Since that standout performance to open the season, Bowers has followed with just 38, 38 and 46 yards, respectively, in Las Vegas’s past 3 games, which have all been losses. Bowers also has yet to find the end zone this season for the Raiders, and now the injuries that have slowed Bowers down this year have finally caused him to miss at least 1 game.

At Georgia, Bowers helped lead the Bulldogs to back-to-back national championships in 2021 and 2022, and he captured the John Mackey Award as the top tight end in college football in back-to-back years in 2022 and 2023.
