Alex Pereira is eyeing a heavyweight super fight with Jon Jones next.
The Brazilian superstar reclaimed his UFC light heavyweight title on Saturday night with an 80-second demolition of Magomed Ankalaev in Las Vegas.

Asked whether he intends to fight the winner of the heavyweight title fight between Tom Aspinall and Ciryl Gane at UFC 321 later this month, Pereira replied: “No, I want a super fight.
“It would be at the White House, against Jon Jones,” added Pereira. “That’s a super fight.”
Pereira had intended to call out Jones in the Octagon, but instead chose to dedicate his speech to ‘Bones’s’ late brother, Arthur Jones, who passed away on Friday at 39 years old.
” I was going to ask for Jon Jones at the White House, but with everything that happened, it is not the right time to talk about it,” revealed Pereira at the post-fight press conference.
Jones had previously expressed a desire to face Pereira while he was still in possession of the UFC heavyweight title, and recently returned to the testing pool with eyes on a return.
The fight would pit two dual-weight UFC champions against each other and is undoubtedly a worthy main event for the White House card next June.
However, UFC CEO Dana White has already repeatedly snubbed Jones as a potential headliner due to concerns over his reliability.
