DENVER (KDVR) — The Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office said it was investigating reports of a "suspicious person" near Guanalla Pass as of Saturday morning.
Guanella Pass is a popular peak leaf-viewing area in Clear Creek County and is expected to be busy this weekend, with additional traffic enforcement also planned for this weekend.

The agency told FOX31 that there was a male suspect with a weapon, which is not illegal in the area.
Deputies, as of 11:40 a.m., were searching the area of Naylor Lake and Silver Dollar Lake Trail.
The sheriff's office is asking visitors to avoid the area while the search is underway. There are no current road closures ordered for the investigation.
